Women's
superannuation savings still pale in comparison to men's, a
trend set to continue with women predicted to achieve only a
fraction of men's superannuation balances by
2019.

circumstances are very different, particularly around
employment patterns. Three times the number of women
work on a part-time or casual basis and they are typically
concentrated in lower paid positions such clerks, cleaners,
cashiers and sales assistants.
